Negotiation Rules
Control how your AI handles price talk. Tell it your lowest prices, how much discount it can give and which prices are firm, in your own words. It follows your rules when buyers make offers.
How It Works
In AI settings, open the profile builder and go to Policies (Selling preferences for individual sellers). Write your rules in the Offers and haggling box, in plain words. If you use the prompt editor, write them into your prompt instead. For example:
Your lowest price
Write the lowest price you accept, for each item if you like: "Never go below $400 for the sofa."
A discount limit
One rule for everything: "Open to offers within 10% of the listed price."
Firm prices
Name the items that are not negotiable: "The bike's price is firm. Politely decline offers."
What Happens During Negotiation
Lowball Offers
The AI politely declines and suggests a counter-offer closer to your acceptable range. It stays friendly without giving in.
Reasonable Offers
If an offer falls within your discount range, the AI accepts and moves the conversation toward pickup or delivery details.
"What is your best price?"
The AI responds based on your rules. If you allow flexibility, it may offer a small discount. If the item is firm, it says so clearly.
Bundle Requests
When a buyer asks about multiple items, the AI references the pricing rules for each and can suggest a fair bundle price.
